All applicants must provide evidence of their English language ability. The accepted forms of evidence are shown here. Please check this information carefully and make sure that you have the appropriate documents/evidence as your application will otherwise not be considered.

Nationality of one of the exempt countries as defined by UK Visas and Immigration. Please read this carefully as many countries where all teaching is in English are NOT included in the list. Students who have degrees from these countries will have to provide evidence of English competency. Please note that a statement from your university that you were taught in English is not acceptable evidence.

OR

An undergraduate or master’s degree, that was taught and assessed in English in a majority English speaking country as defined by UK Visas and Immigration

OR

An undergraduate or master’s degree from a university on the list of approved universities in non-majority English speaking countries. Required document: Statement/certificate from the student office or registrar that would testify the student’s degree situation and studies (level of studies + the university of studies + year of graduation) and English language full teaching with indicating applicant’s level at best.

OR

A certificate of English competency as indicated in the table below.

• Degrees taught and assessed in English must be no more than 2.5 years old at the beginning of the degree programme.
• Language tests must be no more than 2 years old at the beginning of the IDOH+ programme, except for CAE and CPE which must be no more than 3.5 years old.
