The IDOH programme consists of 4 semesters of 30 ECTS credits each, making 2 years and 120 ECTS credits in total. The mobility structure, with a change in location each semester, gives students a wide educational experience, being taught by experts in One Health, infectious diseases, translational medicine and immunology in three premier universities.
Semester 1 covers basic immunology and infectious diseases. Semester 2 focusses on epidemiology and risk mitigation. Semester 3 covers translational medicine and diagnostics. Semester 4 is taken up with the research project, performed as a placement in industry or an internship in any full or associate partner institute.
