Information for prospective students on our application process, entry requirements, during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Teaching will be organized according to local sanitary regulations and situation. If you are unable to travel to Tours in September you will still be able to start your degree online, wherever you are in the world, and join us later. We are committed to delivering an exciting and valuable induction experience for everyone, whether you can make it on campus or not.


Meeting our English language requirements - Enlarged test choice list

We are accepting some online English tests, while test centres are closed, and have expanded our list of approved universities.
We have now approved several online English language tests for 2021 entry, while test centres are closed.

LanguageCert International ESOL


We have approved the LanguageCert International ESOL online test for entry in 2021.

TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition

We have approved the TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition test for entry in 2021 and on.

Entry requirements based on this test are exactly the same as entry requirements for the standard TOEFL iBT test. You will find these listed in your offer.

To be eligible for the IDOH+ programme you must comply with the eligibility criteria

  1. You must have been awarded a first cycle degree (bachelor degree) from an accredited university. The degree must have involved a minimum of three years full time study and correspond to a minimum of 180 ECTS.
  2. Your degree must have been awarded with at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division; 2-1; 2A) or equivalent.
  3. Your area of study should have been in one of the following areas: biological sciences (if possible with a major in immunology, infectious diseases or microbiology); veterinary, medical or pharmaceutical sciences.
  4. You must demonstrate your proficiency in English. For information on accepted proof of English competence, see English Language Requirements
